What is Raw equity in poker?

The percentage chance that a player will win a hand, assuming all players go to showdown. Ties are also factored in. It can be calculated in multiple ways, such as: hand vs hand, hand vs range, or range vs range. It's important to note that "raw equity" does not factor in betting action. In other words, it assumes the hand gets checked-down to showdown and each hand gets to realize all of its equity. That's what the "raw" descriptor refers to.
