What is Draw in poker?

A hand that has the chance to improve to a strong made hand on certain future community cards. For example, a player holding A7 on 4K9 has a flush draw, as they will make a flush if a heart comes on the turn or river. The term can also refer to a variant of poker, with multiple different games, centred around the ability of players to discard cards they have been dealt and receive “draw” new ones in attempting to make a hand.
